Geolog is looking to hire a Personnel Coordinator with proven experience in Middle East to support local operations.
POSITION
The Personnel Coordinator oversees the day-to-day coordination of the company’s field staff, ensuring that the right people are assigned to the appropriate locations in line with requests from operational bases and corporate directives. The role is also responsible for maintaining the company’s planning database and reports directly to the MEA Regional Manager.

The role is also responsible for maintaining the company’s planning database and reports directly to the MEA Regional Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all new employees complete the required training and integration into GEOLOG, including support in organizing external courses and medical check-ups.
- Organizing personnel work assignments and monitoring their exposure and utilization.
- Maintaining the personnel assignment database, including the Competency Database for field staff.
- Preparing travel documents as needed.
- Arranging training courses for personnel when requested.
- Traveling internationally on occasion, as required.
- Identifying and flagging high-potential employees within the field workforce when above-average capabilities or skills are observed.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and characteristics:
- Solid experience in the oilfield services industry (required).
- Previous experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
